Beach Essentials - Baby & Toddler
After many beach outings and beach vacations, I finally have a list of items I always pack when I'm going to the beach. Ok I'm pretty extra though, you probably don't even need more than half of the things on this list haha. But it's the little things in life that makes my toddler happy so I always go all out just to see the big smile and excitement on his face. I hope you enjoy reading this blog and can find some gems that will be useful for you for your beach outing!
Essential # 1
Pop Up Tent
This tent is the perfect touch for any beach outings. It is really nice and compact and portable, and has a good amount of space in it as well. I was even able to take it for my trip to Mexico as it fit in my suitcase pretty well. This tent is better suited for babies, however my toddler can still fit in it too. This keeps them in a nice shaded area while they can play with their beach toys inside.

Beach Toys
Every mom knows that things with toddlers can get quite.. messy, in many different ways! That's why I love this pack of wipes that has wipes for 3 different situations. Whether it's dirty hands and face, or dropped pacifier or toys on the floor, or a runny nose - this set will have you covered.

Wet Clothes Bag
This wet clothes bag was really helpful not just for storing wet clothes after a dip in the beach or pool, but also really handy for storing my toddlers dirty laundry on the way back home. If there's no clothes in this bag, it is really compact and can be buttoned to a really small size which is great for saving space.

Beach Mesh Bag
This mesh bag is a must have for me whenever I go on any beach vacations. It stores a good amount of beach toys, and it's perfect for lugging it back to the hotel room as it drains out all the water and sand nicely, so that by the time you get back to your room there is no sandy mess. It also fits in any luggage so nicely as you are able to pack it away in a small pouch so it is a great space saver.

Waterproof Beach Tote Bag
I love this beach tote bag for many reasons, the first reason is in the name. It is waterproof! So it is beach safe. Secondly, it looks cute too and it's like a bogg bag dupe but for half the price and you can still accessorize it accordingly. This also suprisingly fits so many things, this is the perfect bag to store all yours and your toddler items for a fun beach day.

Beach Bag Pouches
I absolutely love these pouches. As a mom, you already know your stuff will end up getting all shoved into your one large bag and then it takes ages to find something. With these pouches, you can organize yourself better. I usually got all sanitary stuff in one, snacks in another, etc. The best part about this is the fact that you can even clip it on the outside of the bag, so that you can have more room on the inside.

Beach Hat
This comfortable beach hat is perfect for a beach day or beach getaway. It is really compact and travel friendly, and the mesh lining makes it nice and airy for your toddler. Usually my toddler hates having things on his head, but with this hat he doesn't fuss too much.

Folding Beach Chair
I always keep this chair in my car. It comes in so handy for outdoor excursions and activities, especially when we are having a snack or lunch. This is great for the beach as well as it is super compact and easy to carry around.

Portable Fan
I remember stepping out of my hotel room in St Lucia and immediately feeling this wave of heat that didn't go away until I dipped in the pool or beach. That's why this fan came in handy for me because I would use this walking around outside, or even in the airport because running around (especially with a toddler) would make me sweat lol. I love that this is super compact, you can even keep it in your pant pocket and it's really easy to use too.

After a day of splashing in the waves or building sandcastles, your toddler will likely need a quick change.
